Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aminio App ("Aminio", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the Aminio: Reta & GLP-1 Tracker mobile apps for iOS and Android (the "App") and our website at aminio.app (the "Website"). It covers health data, including data from Apple Health and Android Health Connect.

Aminio is a personal tracker for medications, peptides, doses, body measurements, symptoms and habits. It does not provide medical advice. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hi@aminio.app.

Summary

  • We collect the health information you choose to log so we can store, sync and show it back to you.
  • Data we read from Apple Health or Health Connect stays on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, not sent to the AI coach and not shared with anyone.
  • We never sell your personal data or health data, and we never use health data for advertising.
  • The apps contain no advertising SDKs and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • The AI coach sends your messages to our AI provider (Anthropic). Your health summary is added only if you turn on the "Health records" option.
  • You can export your data, turn off analytics, and delete your account from inside the App at any time.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name you provide. You can sign in with an email code, an email and password, Google or Apple. If you use Google or Apple, we receive the name and email address that provider shares with us (Apple lets you hide your email). If you use the App before signing in, we create an anonymous account with a random identifier.

1.2 Profile information

During onboarding and in your profile you may provide your date of birth, sex, height, current and target weight, goals, unit preferences, reminder preferences and a profile picture.

1.3 Health and wellness data you enter

The core of Aminio is the health information you choose to record. Depending on which features you use, this can include:

  • medications, peptides and other compounds you track, your inventory (strength, amount, lot, expiry date, brand), and your protocols and schedules;
  • dose logs: dose, route, injection site, time taken or skipped, and notes;
  • body measurements such as weight, waist and body fat;
  • journal entries and check-ins: mood, energy, symptoms, side effects and notes;
  • habits such as hydration, protein, caffeine, alcohol, sugar, steps and cardio;
  • lab results (blood panels and markers) and lab documents you upload;
  • progress photos and other images or PDFs you upload.

This data is stored on your device and, when you are signed in, synced to our servers so it is backed up and available on your devices.

1.4 AI coach conversations

If you use the AI coach, we store your conversations (your messages and the coach's replies) and any images or documents you attach. See Section 3.

1.5 Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics. If "Share usage analytics" is on, the App sends pseudonymous usage events to Mixpanel, such as which screens or features are used, onboarding answers like your goal, and subscription purchases. These events use a random identifier that is not linked to your account and is reset when you sign out. They never include the content of your logs, the names of your compounds, or your messages. You can turn analytics off at any time in Profile → Data & Privacy.
  • Crash reports. If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects diagnostic information (device model, operating system, app version, the technical crash details) together with your account ID, so we can fix the problem.
  • Device and push data. If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token and platform so we can send you dose reminders.
  • Server logs. Our servers record technical request information, such as IP address, time, requested endpoint and error details, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Referral links. If you open a Aminio referral link, we record a one-way hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) and your country to attribute the referral. On Android, the referral code is also passed through the Google Play install referrer. Raw click records are deleted after 14 days; we keep only aggregated daily counts.

1.6 Purchases

Subscriptions in the App are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your card details. We receive and store your subscription status: product, store, status, expiry date, renewal status, and the transaction ID or purchase token. Website purchases are processed by Paddle or Whop, which collect your payment details directly.

1.7 Information you send us

If you contact support, we receive your message and anything you include. In-app support emails are pre-filled with your user ID, account email, app version, device and OS version to help us help you. If you apply to our affiliate program, we collect the details in your application (name, company, audience, links, message) and payout records.

2. Apple Health and Android Health Connect

With your permission, Aminio can read data from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to show your daily activity automatically next to the data you log.

What we read

  • Steps
  • Active energy / active calories burned
  • Exercise (exercise time and sessions)
  • Weight (body mass)
  • Sleep

Access is read-only. Aminio never writes, changes or deletes any data in Apple Health or Health Connect.

How we use it

We use this data only to display your activity inside the App (for example, the automatic entries in your daily log). It is processed on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, not sent to the AI coach or any AI provider, not shared with or sold to third parties, and not used for advertising or marketing. The only related information we sync is a yes/no setting recording that you connected Health, so the App can show the right screen on your other devices.

Limited Use

Aminio's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data from Apple HealthKit is used in line with Apple's HealthKit rules: it is not used for advertising, not sold, not disclosed to third parties, and not stored in iCloud.

Turning it off

You can revoke access at any time: on Android in Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → Aminio; on iOS in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Aminio. When access is revoked, the App stops reading this data.

3. AI coach and lab reading

The AI coach is provided through Anthropic, an AI company that acts as our service provider. When you use it:

  • Your conversation messages and any images or PDFs you attach are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply.
  • If you turn on "Health records" in coach settings (it is off by default), our server also adds a short summary of your logged data so the coach can personalize its answers: your age, sex and goal; your recent weight trend and target weight; your latest body measurements; your active protocols; your dose adherence over the last 14 days; your most recent lab markers; and your latest mood and energy check-in. This summary is built from the data you logged in Aminio, never from Apple Health or Health Connect.
  • If you use lab-report reading, the lab document you upload is sent to Anthropic to extract your marker values.
  • Voice dictation uses your phone's built-in speech recognition (Apple or Google). It runs on your device where supported; otherwise the platform's speech service may process the audio.

Anthropic processes this data on our behalf to provide the service. Under its commercial terms, it does not use it to train its models, and it keeps it only for a limited period under its own policies. Your conversation history is stored on our servers so you can come back to it. AI replies are generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and are not medical advice.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide the App: storing, syncing and displaying your logs, charts, reports and widgets.
  • To send the dose and check-in reminders you set up, by push notification, email or SMS.
  • To provide the AI coach and lab reading, as described above.
  • To manage your account and subscription, and to run referral and affiliate programs.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • To understand how the App is used and improve it, using pseudonymous analytics if you allow it.
  • To send product updates or offers, only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use your health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not use it to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contracts that limit how they can use it, and when the law requires it. These providers are:

We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information. If you joined through a referral link, the person who referred you sees only a masked version of your email (for example, "j•••@gmail.com") and whether you subscribed.

6. Our website

When you visit aminio.app, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address and browser type. The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and Google Analytics, to measure visits and the performance of our ads. If you take a quiz on the Website, we store your answers and, if you provide it, your email address, which may be used to send you your results and related emails through MailerLite. When we report a purchase or sign-up to Meta or TikTok, we send your email only in hashed form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. These advertising technologies are used only on the Website, not in the App.

7. How long we keep data

We keep your account and health data for as long as your account is active, so the App can work and your data stays backed up. If you delete your account, we delete your account and the data linked to it from our database. Files you uploaded are removed from our file storage, and residual copies in backups and logs are removed within 30 days, unless we must keep certain information longer to comply with the law (for example, purchase records for tax purposes). Referral click records are deleted after 14 days. Crash reports and analytics events are kept according to Firebase's and Mixpanel's retention settings.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Delete your account: in the App, go to Profile → Data & Privacy → Delete account. You can also delete all your logged data and keep your account. If you can't access the App, email hi@aminio.app from your account email address and we will delete your account.
  • Export your data: Profile → Data & Privacy → Download my data (JSON), or export CSV files and reports.
  • Analytics: turn "Share usage analytics" on or off in Profile → Data & Privacy.
  • AI coach: keep "Health records" off to send only your messages, or don't use the coach at all.
  • Apple Health / Health Connect: revoke access in your device settings (see Section 2).
  • Notifications and marketing: manage them in the App or your device settings; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email hi@aminio.app. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

EEA, UK and Swiss users

Aminio App is the controller of your personal data. We process health data on the basis of your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting the data or your account. We process other data to perform our contract with you (providing the App), for our legitimate interests (security, fixing errors, improving the service), with your consent (analytics, marketing, Health access), or to meet legal obligations. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws can ask to know, access, correct or delete their personal information, including consumer health data, and will not be discriminated against for doing so. We do not sell personal information or consumer health data. The App does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. On the Website, the advertising cookies described in Section 6 may count as "sharing" under some state laws. You can opt out by blocking cookies or by emailing hi@aminio.app.

9. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on our systems, time-limited signed links for uploaded files, and encrypted storage of sign-in tokens on your device. On Android, app backups are turned off. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Notifications can show the name of your scheduled compound on your lock screen; you can change this in your device's notification settings.

10. Children

Aminio is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us at hi@aminio.app and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you in the App.
